"An adventurous young man from Yorkshire, England, Thomas Kay, arrived in Oregon in 1863, bringing his exceptional fabric craftsmanship and emphasis for extraordinary quality," says Mort Bishop III, President, Pendleton Woolen Mills and great, great grandson of Thomas Kay.
